Charges and Excess

Insurance Excess

In the event of an accident or theft the insurance excess is £5000.00 unless otherwise stated, Fault or non-Fault*
Under no circumstances will this be reimbursed before settlement of the claim. Where the total value of damage is less than the excess, we reserve the right to charge hirer for the cost of repairs and associated loss of income.

*In the event of an accident you are required to pay the full amount immediately. By signing this agreement you are authorising us to debit your payment card in the event that we cannot recover payment.

 

Fuel charge

Where vehicles are returned with less fuel than when taken, an administration charge of £12 in addition to the actual pump price of fuel will be applied.

Damages/Charges

When the vehicle returns to Auto Drive, it will be inspected and if there has been any damage that was caused to the vehicle whilst on hire to you (The Customer) will be charged. Tyres, Wheels, Windows and windscreens are the hirers own responsibility and are not covered under the insurance. When the vehicle is returned, if damage is present, you will be charged the cost of the repair in addition to the daily rate for the time the vehicle remains under repair.

The rates of pay are listed below; please note the prices are not fixed and are listed as a guidance only:

In cases where the damage is not listed above, the company (Auto Drive (Huddersfield) Limited) will obtain a quote from our approved list of repairers. The Hirer will be billed accordingly. All charges are in addition to the cost of the vehicles daily rate, for the number of days it is under repair.

*ALL BALANCES ARE TO BE SETTLED IMMEDIATELY. By signing this agreement you are authorising us to debit your payment card in the event that we cannot recover payment.
